Around 20 litres per person covers minimum needs for one week if the tap fails. Juice and other non-alcoholic drinks can help with hydration. Clean bottles thoroughly; DSB describes a bleach rinse for containers before filling with cold tap water. Store cool and dark—several smaller containers often fit better than one large one.
